Your American Income Life policy
American Income Life is part of Globe Life and has its own policyholder resources. Check the issuing company on your policy so that coverage discussions and official servicing requests relate to the right contract.
Use American Income Life’s resources for official payment, beneficiary or address changes on an AIL policy.

Your coverage questions
Start with the contract you actually have. These general explanations do not confirm an individual policy’s status or benefits.
American Income Life offers term and whole life insurance as well as separate supplemental products. If you have several documents, identify the product on each one before comparing benefits. Bring the life insurance coverage amount, premium, duration and riders to the conversation. Do not assume an accident benefit provides the same protection as a life insurance policy.
AIL provides its own customer login and forms for beneficiary, address and payment-related requests. Use those resources to submit an account change or confirm that it was recorded. Our independent agents can discuss life insurance questions and available options, but cannot access your AIL account, post payments, change beneficiary records or decide a claim.
American Income Life official policyholder resources (external website)AIL describes its whole life insurance as building cash and loan value. Those figures are different from the death benefit shown on your policy. Before discussing your options, have the current value statement, premium and any loan information available. AIL must confirm the amount available under your contract; My Policy Help Desk cannot access that balance or process a loan or surrender.

Before you call
Clear answers, from the start.
No. Calls reach My Policy Help Desk’s licensed insurance agents. We are an independent agency, not American Income Life. We discuss life insurance questions and available options; we cannot access carrier accounts, take carrier payments, change carrier records or process claims.
Start with the insurer named on your policy. American Income Life has its own policyholder page, login and forms. Being part of the same corporate group does not make different companies’ policies or service channels interchangeable.
No. Accident benefits depend on the accidents and conditions covered by that contract. A life policy and a supplemental accident product are different protections. Read each document’s benefit, exclusions and product type; AIL must resolve questions about what a particular AIL contract covers.
Find the stated coverage period, premium schedule and any renewal or continuation provisions in your own documents. AIL’s published product information distinguishes term from whole life coverage, but it does not establish the terms of every historical policy. Our agency cannot confirm your AIL policy status or promise renewal.
AIL describes its insurance coverage as portable when customers move or change jobs. Do not assume that a separate employer group plan follows the same rules. Check the insurer, policy ownership, premium-payment arrangements and continuation terms in your documents, and ask AIL to confirm your specific coverage status.
Yes. AIL’s published guidance explains that an unpaid policy loan and accrued interest can reduce the death benefit paid to beneficiaries. The amount and terms depend on your contract. Ask AIL for the current loan balance, interest terms and effect on your policy; our independent agency cannot confirm or change those records.
Yes. A conversation with our agency does not change or cancel your coverage. Ask whether keeping your current policy and adding coverage could fit your needs. A replacement may involve new underwriting, costs or benefit limitations. Do not cancel existing coverage just because you have applied for another policy; confirm the new policy and its effective date first.
Compare the death benefit, how long coverage lasts, whether premiums can change, any initial benefit limits, exclusions and riders. For a policy with illustrated values, distinguish contractual guarantees from non-guaranteed projections. Your documents and the issuing insurer establish the terms; an advertised price alone is not a complete comparison.
No. You can ask life insurance questions without committing to buy or change coverage. If you choose to explore another policy, ask about its costs, eligibility requirements and coverage terms before deciding.
Have your policy or coverage summary and the questions you want to discuss nearby. We work from information you provide; we do not log in to carrier accounts. Do not share account passwords or one-time security codes.
No. Contact your carrier using the details on your policy or its official website for payment confirmation, official policy status, account changes and claims. Our independent agency can separately discuss life insurance questions and available coverage options.
